Got up around 7:45 this morning to have a shower and get my stuff packed.  Had some coffee and relaxed in the room for a bit.

Checked out and left out bags with the hotel while we went to check out Tokyo Station.  

Had some creamy chicken ramen for lunch at the little place I went to last trip.  Was tasty and cheap.

Wandering around the station shops a bit and went to Daimaru.  Then walked back to the hotel to hang out in the lobby for a bit before walking across the street to the stop for the limousine bus to Narita.

The office building but the bus stop had a robot security guard patrolling the lobby.

The bus was straightforward and a good choice for people not wanting to navigate stairs in the subways/trains.

Security and immigration were quick and we got access to the United Lounge with our ticket.   A nice,  big lounge that was relatively quiet.  Had a couple beers but didn’t want to fill up before all the food on the flight.  They have the nice automatic Asahi and Sapporo Beer pouring machines,  which was good.

Boarding was a bit chaotic compared to Calgary but pretty smooth.  Took off pretty close to on time.   Shorter flight on the way home so will try to get a few hours sleep.

I had the smoked salmon and beef short rib with rice for dinner with the cheese plate.   Seemed like larger portions than on the way here,  particularly the cheese plate (forgot to take a photo but it had three large pieces of different cheeses).

Slept after dinner until we were about 1 hour away.   Managed to cruise through immigration and get home quickly.  Was warm (27C) in Tokyo again today,  even though it started raining.  Now home to some snow.
